Internet promo for interdisciplinary performance project
The idea was to explore performance boundaries by making an entire venue space a stage. Near darkness was chosen as a fundamental to explore and remove the visual divisions between audience and performer. Light in some degree was still relevant to the experiment, so we explored darkness to just visible to light traces, and found that we could distort and disturb the visual sense into a evaporating field of perception. Sound wise, the nights explored trance like states through vocal sound improvisation techniques and improvised movement relating to the sound. The lack of vision being key to becoming more comfortable within the performance to go deeper within the sound, movement and expression.
Melbourne Fringe Festival - 2017
This was a group of self funded events that provided open space for early career artists and creative talents to put their art or ideas into a public space. A platform people to gather, experience or exhibit art without expectations of validity or artistic merit. A experiment in free creative pursuits and community organization.
The project was inspired by my experiences in some of the most esteemed progressive art and culture festival's around the world. The spirit and the passion from these events provoked questions around raising community spirit and how to engage with the suburban fragmentation in big cities. So i organized 'Lebenserfahrung', translating to 'the experience of life happening'. The event nights gave space to a small fringe community to exhibit creative work, and was a means to recreate the art festival experience in a suburban household.

A work for the ambient soundscape genre. My aims were to make soundscapes that would take the listener into deeper states of consciousness and explore unique aural dimensions.
Technically, I interpreted David Bowie's experimental lyrics editing technique. From what i can remember, it was a system of randomized results which he used to put words together to create lyrics that would never have been analytically conceived. It was a fascinating experiment that has stayed with me and i thought it could interesting way to explore the arrangement of the album.
So i decided make up my own system using vocal lines instead of lyrics. Part of the parcel on MoVEment.
